Condensation & mould Solutions

Condensation happens when warm, moist air meets a cold surface, such as a window pane. Everyday activities like cooking, showering, and drying clothes indoors increase humidity, while poor insulation, a lack of ventilation, and inadequate heating make the problem worse. Left untreated, this trapped moisture leads to condensation on windows, peeling paint, musty odours, and black mould that damages your home and puts your health at risk.

At DampMaster Ireland, we tackle the root causes, not just the symptoms. Our team specialises in preventing condensation from turning into mould by combining expert ventilation, insulation improvements, and targeted treatments that stop the cycle for good. By addressing humidity, airflow, insulation, and heating together, we protect your home’s structure and create a healthier, more comfortable living environment.

Why Homeowners Choose Our Condensation & Mould Solutions

Mould Removal Service

ULV (Ultra-Low Volume) chemical fogging is a fast and effective method for removing mould spores from the air and hard-to-reach surfaces. The process disperses a fine mist of specialist anti-fungal solution that penetrates deep into affected areas, killing spores on contact and preventing regrowth. Unlike traditional cleaning, fogging treats the air as well as surfaces, making it ideal for larger spaces or where mould has spread extensively.

This service is particularly effective for properties with recurring mould problems, widespread contamination, or after leaks and floods, helping restore a safe and healthy indoor environment quickly.

OUR SERVICES

Our Ventilation Systems

PIV Systems (Positive Input Ventilation)

PIV units enhance indoor air quality by providing filtered, fresh air and reducing humidity, which prevents mould and structural damage. They improve thermal comfort, promote air circulation, and boost energy efficiency by lowering heating costs, making them valuable for maintaining healthy and sustainable properties.

Heat recovery units improve energy efficiency by capturing and reuse of waste heat from exhaust air, reducing heating costs. They enhance indoor comfort and air quality by supplying fresh, filtered air while minimising heat loss.

High-capacity extraction units, capable of removing up to 60 litres per second, are equipped with humidity sensors, making them ideal for bathrooms. They efficiently reduce moisture, preventing mould and dampness, and maintain a healthy indoor environment.

Insulation

Isotherm

The Isotherm product is a 3mm thick layer of advanced skin insulation designed for direct application onto internal structural elements. This membrane enhances thermal performance, increasing indoor temperatures by approximately 6°C and significantly mitigating the risk of black mould growth and condensation. As a state-of-the-art, space-efficient solution, it requires no additional structural space, such as stud walls or plasterboard, as it can be directly skim-coated over the 3mm Isotherm layer. This innovative product represents a breakthrough in internal insulation technology and is an excellent addition to the Damp Master portfolio, offering an effective and unobtrusive thermal barrier.

Glass wool insulation helps stabilise indoor temperatures, reducing cold spots where condensation often forms. This makes it an effective partner in damp proofing, as it minimises the conditions that lead to mould growth. When used alongside proper ventilation and moisture control, glass wool insulation supports a drier, healthier home environment.

Foil-backed foam board insulation provides excellent thermal resistance while also acting as a moisture barrier. By reducing heat loss and limiting the movement of damp air, it helps to prevent condensation and mould growth on walls and ceilings. When paired with effective ventilation, it creates a strong line of defence against damp, keeping interiors warmer, drier, and healthier.
